We are both 25 year old Lithuanians who spent the last couple of years living in Copenhagen. I have lived here for 5 years while Gabija spent 2 years. We both already have all the paperwork and formalities sorted and I also hold a permanent residence.
We both finished our Bachelor in business while working at different study related and non related jobs. Afterwards we worked full-time in the food industry for about a year to save up for the long time wished trip around South East Asia. Well, we both love great food and have passion for cooking. We spend most of our free time in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe, doing food photography and visiting various types of gastronomical events and places. Our long-term goal and dream is to open up our own cafe and therefore, we wanted to gain a bit more insight of how the industry works. We also wanted to give ourselves time shaping the concept we’d like to bring to life.
Why South East Asia? We love to travel and we always knew there is a lot more behind the food scenes and that Asia’s cuisine is rich and very unique so we wanted to explore it and get inspired. We spent the last year travelling, volunteering and meeting new cultures in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.
When it comes to our home, we focus on sustainable living considering both the environment and the people living around us. We are non smokers, very clean, well organised and honest people. We are outgoing, friendly, social and at the same time we respect privacy.
