A bit about us:
I’m Tyler and I moved to Copenhagen around a month ago from Oakland, California to begin the codesign masters program at The Royal Danish Academy located in Holmen (KADK). I live with my fiancé, Natalie and we are looking for a home for the coming years.
Natalie, 28, just began work as a lead baker at Mirabelle in Nørrebro. Bread is her passion and this is a sort of pilgrimage for her. When she’s not baking, she loves reading about baking, cooking, trailrunning, cleaning and straightening up (seriously), bike touring, gardening, and whipping up a damn fine cup of coffee (http://goo.gl/WIWw6U). We’re both really easygoing and neat and have perfect rental histories.
As for my hobbies, I love cooking (which I did professionally for many years), playing music (https://vimeo.com/80792594), collecting records, tinkering with electronics, fixing things, going to flea markets, and learning new languages. I suppose I like a lot more than that, but that should work for now. As a roommate I’m pretty calm these days, and – thanks to my girlfriend of 5 years, Natalie – I’m neater than I ever thought I’d be. She’s here with me.
I apologize for writing in English – the two of us have just begun preliminary Danish studies online (but we can only say silly things like bjørnen spiser det grøn æble) and I begin Danish courses this week. But we’re both eager learners and very excited to start taking it on.
Anyhow, I hope this is of some interest to you!
Thanks for reading and we hope to see you soon!
