I am Omar, a 28 years old doctor from Ljubljana, Slovenia, non-smoker, who is starting with an international PhD programme in the field of molecular neurobiology at Biotech Research and Innovation Centre, University of Copenhagen, following my dreams of becoming a clinician scientist. I start with the academic programme on the 15th of May.
I would describe myself as a calm, respectful, responsible, quite and tidy, as well as open-minded and friendly person, who like to keep things in order. The ability to adapt to new cultural and social environments quickly is one of my strengths, as I have lived in international environments before and am easy to approach. I love to go outside in nature to do all kinds of sports, such as running and hiking, although my main sport discipline has always been artistic gymnastics. I am keen on reading good books, practising mindfulness meditation and always ready to enjoy a good conversation. I speak English fluently, as well as Spanish, basic German and currently learning Danish.
I am looking for a housing (room or small apartment) with a relaxed atmosphere and the option for an occasional visit of a family members or my girlfriend, who is also a very calm, gentle and enthusiastic young doctor.
