We are looking for a couple or a person who would like to join our collective on Amager, ideally from the 15th of April (or even before) until the end of August. We are 6 humans in the ages 29-32, working with humans, design, international development, migration, music, journalism, cinema, architecture and more. We like to spend time together, invite lots of friends for brunch, dinners or improvised workshops, grow vegetables in our garden, and overall create a comfortable place to be, where we include and support each other. In the house we have a mix of nationalities so you can expect to hear danish, Portuguese and German, but our common language is English. The house is located close to Amager Hospital (and quite close to the beach!) and it has 3 floors with a big terrace and garden, 7 bedrooms, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms, 1 living room and 2 smaller shared areas. We are open to new ideas and projects for the house and common areas, so new initiatives are very welcome. We eat vegetarian meals together when we're home and work to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible, especially in the way we consume goods in the house. As a collective we prioritize that everyone feels at home and we prefer to have flexibility and goodwill over strict rules or guidelines. Practically that means that we have a shared economy for food and other shared items (about 1200 kr. a month), and have house meetings ca. 2 times a month to discuss communal and practical matters, and to ensure all are feeling well at home. Our landlord has some renovations planned to begin in August (at the latest), so we might need to move out during the renovation period, and are not sure whether our contract will be extended afterwards.
